LEED

What is LEED v4.1 Flooring?

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a green building program administered by the US Green Building Council. It promotes a comprehensive approach to sustainability by evaluating performance in five key areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. Installing flooring that contributes to these areas can help buildings earn points towards LEED certification.

As a global provider of protective floor coatings, Dex-O-Tex High Performance Flooring is committed to meeting the standards set by the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program. Our team of industry experts develops commercial flooring systems that are both durable and eco-friendly, ensuring high performance without compromising sustainability.

What is a Health Product Declaration (HPD) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)?

Health Product Declaration, or HPD, the standardized way of reporting the contents of your building products. It’s a valuable tool for not only encouraging transparency, it creates a sense of brand trust and is safer for anyone using the property. See a list of Dex-O-Tex HPD’s.

An Environmental Product Declaration is a document which transparently communicates the environmental performance or impact of any product or material over its lifetime. See a list of Dex-O-Tex EPD’s.
