Cheminert SC Membrane

Waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane for slabs over occupied spaces and various floor and wall surfaces.

Cheminert SC Membrane is a 100%-solids, epoxy membrane providing a waterproof layer beneath floor and wall surfaces.

Tek-Crete application used on Greet Theatre

Historic Greek Theatre in Griffith Park

Dex-O-Tex factory-trained professionals used Resistite and Cheminert SC Membrane to rehab and preserve this famous Los Angeles landmark.

When American Restore took on the repair and restoration of the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park, their scope had three key requirements: waterproof the deck, provide a smooth, trip-free, attractive surface, and complete the task during the venue’s winter performance break. Their plan also needed to address old control joints and cracking from many years of age and wear.

After consulting with Dex-O-Tex technical staff, American Restore came up with a solution using Dex-O-Tex Cheminert SC Membrane, Dex-O-Tex Resistite, and AJ-44 Acrylic Topcoat to create a long-lasting, waterproof surface to preserve the historic structure.

“Dex-O-Tex’s great products, strong dealer training support, and knowledgeable technical support, helped us deliver a world class performance,” – Benjamin Ball, American Restore’s Vice President.
